The RCF HDL 28-A is a compact yet powerful bi-amped 2-way active touring system designed for a variety of indoor and outdoor applications, prioritizing vocal intelligibility. Featuring two 8-inch neodymium woofers and a 3-inch titanium compression driver, the HDL 28-A delivers exceptional sound quality with a maximum SPL of 135 dB. The cabinet design incorporates RCF’s patented composite material and zero-degree phase technology, ensuring ultra-linear amplitude response and consistent coverage of 90° x 70°.

Equipped with a built-in 2200 watt class-D amplifier and advanced DSP processing with FiRPHASE technology, the HDL 28-A delivers outstanding playback clarity and transient response. The symmetrical cabinet design and special DSP crossover filtering ensure constant directivity without spots of break up or attenuation.

The HDL 28-A features RCF’s Class-D power amplifiers, which provide high performance with high efficiency in a lightweight solution. The transducers are meticulously engineered and matched to deliver optimal performance, with a 750 Hz crossover point for seamless integration between high and low frequencies.

With an advanced rigging concept derived from larger RCF arrays, the HDL 28-A offers fast and reconfigurable rigging options, allowing for easy setup and adjustment. Up to 20 HDL 28-A modules can be fastened on a single flybar, making it suitable for large-scale installations.
