Two-Bay Charging Station: The ATW-CHG3 is a dual-bay charging station designed specifically for the 3000 Series (fourth generation) handheld (ATW-T3202) and body-pack (ATW-T3201) transmitters. It efficiently charges two transmitters at the same time, saving time and ensuring both devices are always ready for use.
NiMH Battery Charging: The station charges NiMH batteries directly while they remain inside the transmitters. This feature eliminates the need to remove the batteries, adding convenience and ensuring seamless charging without interruptions. NiMH batteries are not included with the unit.
Automatic Shutoff for Safety: To ensure safety, the ATW-CHG3 automatically shuts off if it detects alkaline or damaged batteries, protecting both the station and transmitters from potential harm. This feature prolongs the lifespan of your equipment by preventing overcharging or exposure to unsuitable battery types.
Maintenance Charging Mode: Once fully charged, the ATW-CHG3 enters a maintenance charging mode, which helps retain battery power without overcharging. This keeps your transmitters at full capacity while they remain in the charging station, ensuring they are ready for immediate use.
Power and Charging Status LEDs: Equipped with LED indicators, the ATW-CHG3 offers quick and easy monitoring of the power and charging statuses. Users can immediately see when a device is fully charged or still in the process of charging.
Linking Capability: For larger setups, the ATW-CHG3 can be linked with up to five charging stations using the AT8687 link kit and AD-SA1230XA AC adapter (both sold separately). This feature allows multiple units to be powered by a single power supply, maximizing efficiency in professional environments.
Automatic Power On/Off: The transmitters automatically power off when placed in the charger, preventing unnecessary battery usage. They also power on automatically when removed, streamlining the workflow and making the charging process highly user-friendly.
