Global Recognition with Afro House Innovation

From the vibrant township of Seshego in Limpopo to iconic stages in Ibiza, New York, Paris, and Monte Carlo, Da Capo (Nicodimas Sekheta Mogashoa) built a powerful name in Afro house. He remains known for his soulful and versatile sound that blends deep house, hip hop, and kwaito influences into unforgettable energy. Finding His Name and Purpose

“My name is Da Capo, music producer, DJ, and sound designer. My real name is Nicodimus, born and raised in Seshego. My journey began at 16. I first produced hip hop before shifting into deep house.”- Da- Capo

The meaning behind his name remains deeply personal. “Da Capo” translates as “from the beginning”. It reflects his belief that an artist must remain willing to start again, learn, and grow. That message shapes his creative identity and guides every move forward.

Seshego’s Lasting Influence

Growing up in Seshego offered daily inspiration. The DJ compilation era dominated the sound of his childhood, together with kwaito and local hip hop culture. Weekend music filled the community with energy. House parties and school events featured DJs who moved crowds with passion and personality. This vivid environment shaped his determination to create music with power, rhythm, and soul. His hood taught him that sound can build identity and confidence.

Uniting the World Through Music

Performing around the world remains a dream in motion. One venue stands above the rest. Bali (Savaya) proved to him that music connects strangers without language. It revealed the true strength of rhythm and emotion. Every performance shows that sound carries unity, inspiration, and passion everywhere he goes.
