The Turbosound iQ12 is a versatile 2-way full-range loudspeaker designed to deliver exceptional audio performance for both portable PA and installation applications. With its 2500 Watts of power driven by Klark Teknik Class-D technology, this loudspeaker offers pristine sound reproduction with ample headroom, making it suitable for a wide range of live sound environments.
Equipped with Klark Teknik Digital Signal Processing (DSP), the iQ12 provides precise control over the system’s performance, allowing users to optimize the sound according to their specific requirements. The speaker modeling feature includes accurate models of industry-standard speakers, ensuring consistent and reliable sonic performance across different venues and applications.
The iQ12 also features Spatial Contour Control (SCC), which compensates for the frequency response based on the physical placement of the speaker, ensuring balanced sound dispersion and coverage throughout the venue. Additionally, ULTRANET digital audio networking enables seamless integration with mixers and other sources, providing efficient signal routing and control.
Featuring a 12″ low-frequency driver with a low mass voice coil for improved transient response, and a high-temperature 1″ compression driver with a copper-clad aluminum voice coil for extended high-frequency reproduction, the iQ12 delivers articulate and dynamic sound with exceptional clarity and detail.
The fully-featured user interface with an LCD display offers intuitive navigation and control over various parameters, while PC remote control software downloadable from the Turbosound website provides additional flexibility and convenience for system configuration and management.
Constructed from lightweight fiberglass-reinforced composite material and finished with a rugged powder-coated perforated steel mesh grille, the iQ12 ensures durability and reliability for demanding touring and installation applications.
