The MMS 3405P features two buttons for microphone control: a latched button for enabling the microphone in mixed mode with other active delegate microphone consoles, and a momentary push button for activating priority mode. In priority mode, the chairman microphone takes precedence over delegate microphones, allowing the chairman to have absolute control over the discussion. Each button is accompanied by an LED indicator, providing visual feedback when pressed.

Additionally, the microphone capsule is equipped with an LED ring that illuminates when the microphone is active, providing further visual indication of microphone status. This feature helps ensure that participants are aware when the chairman is speaking, facilitating smooth and organized communication during meetings.

The MMS 3405P also includes a built-in 1 W loudspeaker for sound reinforcement, eliminating the need for an additional sound reinforcement system in small to medium-sized meeting rooms.
