Piano Section

The Piano section features an enhanced collection of sounds, including Grands, Uprights, and Electric Pianos. It incorporates dynamic compression, an Unison feature, creative timbre presets, and advanced string resonance. Dynamic pedal noise adds realism to acoustic and electric pianos, delivering a rich and immersive playing experience.

Synth Section

Equipped with the Nord Wave 2 Synth Engine, the Synth section supports three independent layers. It includes doubled sample memory and enhanced samples with Tru-Vibrato, Unison, and Round Robin. The advanced Arpeggiator features Polyphonic, Gate, and Pattern modes. The Extern mode enables advanced MIDI control, while extensive real-time controls allow precise sound manipulation.

Organ Section

The Organ section includes award-winning simulations of B3 Tonewheel, B3 Bass, classic Vox, Farfisa, and two Pipe Organ models. Physical drawbars with LED indicators enhance the hands-on experience. The improved Rotary Speaker Drive and new B3 Bass mode offer classic organ sounds with modern flexibility. The model 122 Vintage Rotary Speaker features new drive settings, including close or distant mic positions.

Effect Section

The Nord Stage 4 Compact includes a dedicated Effect section for each layer. It features new effects such as the Pump effect for side-chain simulation, the Spin effect, and new variations of Reverb, Delay, Amps, and Modulation effects. The updated Spring, Booth, and Cathedral Reverb effects, along with new Flam and Space Delay effects, expand creative possibilities.

Connections and Additional Features

The keyboard provides 4 assignable audio outputs, a stereo headphone output, and a monitor input. It supports various pedal inputs, MIDI In/Out, USB connectivity for MIDI, software updates, and sound transfers. Optional accessories include the Nord Triple Pedal 2, Nord Piano Monitor, and Nord Keyboard Stand EX.
