Flo Milli commands the stage like few others in today’s hip-hop scene. At her recent show at the Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre in Southern California, Flo Milli commands the stage became more than a phrase-0it was a reality felt by 4,800 fans in attendance. With her razor-sharp lyrics and undeniable energy, Flo Milli didn’t just perform; she took over the space with bold authority and unstoppable momentum.
Each beat landed with power. Every lyric cut through with crystal clarity. From the moment she hit the mic, the audience was completely engaged. Flo Milli brought her signature high-voltage presence, and behind her, the tech team ensured every sound detail matched that intensity.
dB Technologies VIO Delivers Precision and Power
To meet the sonic demands of this powerful performance, MixOne Sound tapped systems engineer Billy Curtin and deployed a premium dB Technologies VIO setup. The rig included 24 VIO L212 line array modules that spread pristine highs and rich mids evenly across the venue.
Twelve VIO S218 subwoofers in a cardioid configuration pushed deep, punchy bass that stayed tight and controlled. Front fills were handled by VIO X206s, offering flawless coverage, while five VIO W15 wedges provided accurate on-stage monitoring for Flo Milli and her team.
The setup also featured VIO C12s, additional L212s, and more S218s for stage and outfill coverage. This complete configuration wrapped the venue in a 360-degree immersive audio experience.
