The three-piece thermally-aged maple neck, with a satin finish, boasts a K-Speed SlimTaper™ C profile for enhanced playability. The 25.5-inch scale length complements the neck’s design, ensuring comfort for a range of playing styles.
Fingerboard and Frets: Equipped with an ebony fingerboard, the Assault includes 24 jumbo frets and classic Kramer Diamond Eye inlays. The 320 mm (12.598 in) radius enhances the ease of playing, especially for techniques like bending and soloing.
Pickups and Electronics: The guitar features Kramer USA Eruption humbucker™ pickups—Rhythm in the neck position and Lead in the bridge position. These pickups are known for their high output and full-throttled tone. The controls include two volume knobs and a master tone knob, all using reliable CTS® potentiometers. A three-way toggle switch selects between pickups.
Hardware: The Assault is equipped with a Floyd Rose® 1000 series tremolo and R2 locking nut, which provide exceptional tuning stability and allow for aggressive dive-bombs.
